Mission: At Buds Academy Schooling Program, we perceive to inspire and enthuse children to develop them into well-rounded, confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential. We give them a pre-eminent, intellectual and a creative centre for their growth.
Focus: The school focuses on providing an authentic learning environment where students apply knowledge and skills from multiple disciplines so as to widen their knowledge. We focus on both curricular and co-curricular activities where students are trained to have within them responsibility, loyalty, team spirit, nutritional, healthy & hygienic life style and healthy Competition.Staff (Buds Academy Schooling Program- BASP faculty): The faculty at Buds Academy Schooling Program comprises of well qualified, learned and empathetic teachers with a desire to share the love of their subject with the students. We are fortunate to have with us a faculty of teachers which is ever eager to improvise and adapt to new challenges and demands so as to bring out the best in their students. Creativity and innovation are the benchmarks in the field of Pedagogy and we continuously strive to incorporate it.
Academic Activities: Competitions and academic activities encourage and foster a healthy and competitive spirit. Apart from regular classroom subject wise academic sessions, some competitive activities are conducted at classroom level and school level. Some of them are essay, speech, handwriting, slogan writing competitions. Poetry recitation, story writing, English and Hindi debate and elocution, G.K, Science and Math Quiz were also conducted. Value based education and life skills training is imparted so as to make the students morally and socially learned individuals.
Environmental Education: For the survival and sustenance of mankind environment should be preserved and that can be achieved if students love their environment and search for ways to preserve it.
Parent Teacher Association: A General body meeting of parents is held on a regular basis and new members of the PTA were nominated for the -year 2021-22 on the basis of fresh admissions, engagement of new teaching staff and board members. Parents provide the valuable feedback and suggestions to the teachers and teachers in return provide them with academic work done, their child specific performance along with required parental support and changes made in school for improvement. The PTA is a group of closely knit individual who work together for the betterment of the students. We thank and congratulate them for their continuous support and cooperation.
Training, Orientation and Counseling: Every academic year training, seminars and orientation programmes are conducted for teachers and students to improve and implement innovative ideas in teaching learning practices as well as to take the students beyond their current level of learning.
Co- Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities: Every activity in school life plays a significant role in a child’s development. Co-curricular activities are an essential part of school life as they help to enhance the learning process of the students. Through these activities we strive to bring in social skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in our students. Focusing this requirement school keeps one day, which is last weekday, free from regular classroom academic sessions and conducts some co-curricular activities along with some learning activities with fun. Some of these activities organized as Card making, Poster making, Best out of waste, any craft work, play and learn sessions, video shows of some cartoon stories, or on other learning materials, vocal music and Dance practices etc. Apart from these weekly sessions students participated and organized occasion based competitions and events.
Celebrations: In order to foster the values of national integration, international understanding, religions and cultural awareness and tolerance various national, religions and cultural festivals were celebrated.
i) National Festivals: Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Shahid Diwas etc. were celebrated.
ii) Religious Festivals: All religious festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid, Dussehra, Buddha Purnima, Good Friday, Guru Nanak Jayanti etc were again celebrated where students belonging to different faiths participated enthusiastically.
iii) Other Celebrations and Day observance: Significant recognition is given by the school to different global events like International Women’s Day, International Worker’s Day, English Week, Earth Day, Hindi Diwas, Yoga Day, Road Safety Day etc. Various activities and competitions were conducted by school where again the students participated enthusiastically.
School Management Activities: As school operated by Setu foundation itself, Various steps taken by board members of Setu Foundation to provide an effective education and facilitate students with more resources and appropriate schooling environment.
Even though our students engaged themselves in various co-curricular and life skills activities, still top priority is given to academic performance. Remedial teaching, extra classes, revision, unit tests, class tests, assignments, term-end exams have kept them busy throughout the year. Back
